i just talked to my little brother, and he informed me that he has not worn underwear in three (3) weeks. i didn't ask. a little too much information, me thinks.

he's coming home for the swim team reunion this weekend, so we'll see how that goes. there are four or five things scheduled for the evening, but since the current team (ie: high school kids) will be there, the last event of the night is 21 and up because of the (open, i might add) bar. i didn't know this, but i guess the itinerary they sent him mentioned that it was 21+, so he can't go to that (he's 20). we are going together though, so i told him they would likely make an exception since he would be driving me home if i drank, and cause i am a coach and i get to make these decisions, and cause i have the huge back brace on and so maybe i need a driver anyway. bottom line, if he has to leave, so do i. so he tells me that he won't stay unless he can drink, and since he can't drink there anyway, he isn't willing to stick arund for an hour for me. we can't both drink, cause i don't drink enough to drink moderately and drive and i won't let him drive after even 1 beer since anything would get him a d.u.i. if pulled over (i'm funny like that.)

so only one of us can drink, and apparently it is him, or no one.

it's the principle, really. i don't drink at team functions, even when it's allowed- i just feel weird doing it around the swimmers or their parents. whatever. of course, while he is here he wants to take my car to miami u. on friday night, wants me to buy beer for him and his friends, and wants food cooked for him and laundry done, and rides to and from the airport (6:30 sunday morning). fucker.

so we'll see, and of course i will let you know.
