so i was thinking. how come when my printer is printing a lot of pages and gets stuck i have to press that little button on it to make it work again? why can't it detect the problem and do whatever the button does without me having to walk over and press it?

also, have you tried carefree koolerz gum? i like it. it scares me though. i don't understand how it works. it really feels cold in my mouth. hmmmm.

my paper topic for tuesday? accordin to bakhtin in "discourse in the novel" "the ideological becomeing of a human being... is the process of selectively assimilating the words of others." what does this mean in terms of Bakhtin's theory of discourse? how would either psychoanalysis or marxism respond to this perspective on ideology, language, and literature? ok, fine. i can do that. but for 8 pages? seriously. fuck that. my friend liz and i are meeting tomorrow to go over our notes and outlines, so if we are both wrong maybe the professor will think he tought us wrong. here's hoping.
